If they ever do another remake of the whole bionic woman\man thing, they should take the whole cyborg thing to the next level and do a Ghost in the Shell type thing. Rather than replace a few limbs, replace the entire body and transfer the brain into a cybernetic body. Their new synthetic bodies would resemble their original bodies in sight and touch. The new bodies would be superior in some ways (strength, speed, ect.) but inferior in some ways (for drama's sake).

I love this post. I was just a kid and fell in love with Jamie...but realized as I grew up into college, I loved Steve more. Who Knew? I am all for the Bionic Woman. Life needs Bionic Women. But life also needs guys that figure out...who knew. Steve, you there? LOL

Kinda figured. I was only pointing out the scientific implausibility, not that it's hard to do with the bionic shows. Like how when Steve Austin lifted an engine block with his bionic arms and legs it would have telescoped his quite human spine. It's just funny to point out.

Agreed. All it would require is some sort of cybornetic linkage between his/her shoulder and hips to transfer the stress completely through. If the opening intro showed some sort of "reinforcing beams, however narrow (they would only have to claim it's being made of some sort of advanced alloy), it would have been enough. Oh well, the programs were enjoyable regardless, and I don't mean to convey otherwise. :)
