Highly appreciate the information, but could you possibly speed up the review for those of us that are multi-tasking?

I bought one of these machines and it is fantastic. For all those that think the Via might be under powered, Vista Business is working just fine. I have the high end model, 1.6, 2 gigs of RAM, 7200 drive and I'm very impressed. Via released new video drivers which improved performance significantly. Screen resolution, keyboard, sound, build quality are best in it's class. Performance with Vista with Areo turned on is quite acceptable.

hi so what the video playback like then is it jerky or smooth ive head its still just as bad with the new drivers?

I would have already purchased one of these if they didn't have the Via CPU in it. A 1.6GHZ Via CPU can't even compare to a 1.0GHZ Pentium M. You get less clock for more hertz.
