I think most people would agree that 15 mpg city isn't "good" gas mileage.

15 mpg is good for a diesel US Class III truck. It's not different then any full size v8 diesel pickup sold in the US. No it won't beat a geo metro, but its right in line with the RAM, F250, Silverado HD, etc.

True, but I was comparing it to all cars in general. Plus, remember those specs they're giving are for the H3, which is smaller and has a 5 cylinder engine. So, the fact that it gets about the same mileage as a V8 Pickup, as you said, is pretty bad.
