What a coincidence! Drinking Shiner Black and looking through pictures. I was always airmobile throughout my Marine Corps time ('89-'94) and almost always rode the PHROG. Loved that bird and it's awkward stance both on the ground and in the air. I loved it's sound. Almost sounded like a Huey, except faster, because it had more blades. It also had a "Wee-wee-wee" sound all the time as it flew, but I'm not sure why that was. Goodbye, PHROG, hope the Osprey is as good.
