I loved this at the beginning of The Front.

I grew up with my great grandparents, and they listened to many different musical artists. I like some of the modern day music, but the classics are where it's at.

this is a great escape from the music of today, where all the lyrics are about sex and booty.
This is so pure, so real, so honest... something this world is missing these days, and Im not even 30 yet....

Glad to see younger people admitting their appreciation of great Frank.
Today's music may have a great beat, but it often lacks any melody. Frank and his arrangers like Nelson Riddle, Gordon Jenkins, Billy May and more had melody in spades.

it is only over the past yr that i have really began to appreciate this magic. I am 16 and i was brought up listening to this music, when i was younger i always complained to my dad telling him to turn the "rubbish" off. I was listening to an Ella Fitz LP a few months ago and it really got to me, so real pure.. ever since i haven't stopped listening to jazz and all of the oldies. Proper music it is ^^ my dad sang this every day when i was a kid! XD

Good for you, everyone around me dislikes Jazz music. Donno if I should call this Jazz, but heck. I don't understand people around me them. This is an interesting and beautiful music genre, and it's one of my favorites. Problem is, it makes me melancolic, and I start thinking about '40 New York.

Does anyone know who wrote all of Frank's beautiful songs?
