Horse races are cool.. But I hate those damn whips, if you can't ride your horse forward without it you're not a good rider at all.

I am sure your horse has gone out of your control at some point, and you needed some extra stuff to keep him straight. You never know what a horse will do, you may have an idea but they can do anything. And a whip can help keep them straight.

im a jockey and i love horse racing! i race quarter horses and i have won a few races on a horse named Prarie! great vid! racing is truly amazing for the jockey and the horse!
