This is a great film. It's possibly one of Polanski's best and certainly one of my favourite films. Catherine Deneuve was very cute in it, which made it all the stranger in many ways.

every rookie director should watch this film ,at least once ! i can't realy compare repulsion with anything ,a lot of psychological thrillers are made and are still being made but this one is just a little bit different ..and that's just awesome ,Deneuve(carole) is very beautiful but ooh poor lady ,she's so wonderfully deranged :) ..someone posted that we can compare this with eraserhead ...hell no,that's also a movie wich you just can't compare ..eraserhead is even more trippy

I saw this film (finally) for the first time last night.......amazing study of a descent into madness. Not sure why, but there were aspects of the film that reminded me of "Eraserhead" by David Lynch.
