This is just amazing. Love it.

I have an older sibling currently in Cirque, and I can assure you there's absolutely no wires or assistance of any kind. That's part of the reason it's extremely hard to get into. This isn't some scam act they're doing. It's all very real professionally practiced done.

You have got to be kidding me! It is definately possible and it is done without any wire whatsoever. It's called practice!

You're acting like its impossible for cirque to use wires, they do use wires they call it for safety but they do use wires. Im not saying the wires is for suspension but for more guidance, Have you tried to do a backflip precision landing especially that far. It certainly is not easy and double back 100% of the time that perfect is alil shocking. Excuse me for being skeptical.

I never said it was impossible for Cirque to use safety wires, all I said was that this act was done without any safety wire whatsoever. This was an early version of the Royale Banquine, this move would later evolve into a triple and quadruple toss-across that is shown in the production now. This move would not be performed for all ten of the shows per week, only special occasions (i.e. special guests in the audiance).

i totally agree... as a circus performer myself i know what it takes and it is an incredible amount of effort and time that goes into this... most of these performers have been building up their whole lives to perform in cirque. also, they know their group so well that they can trust them to be there if there is any need for them to move the slightest inch during rehersals and they practice and practice until it is perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! they are amazing and i salute them.
