600 folks from the Western US rolled out to LA on May 10th to support Red Bull New York as they stormed into town to play the LA Galaxy. The day began with 4 hours of tailgating, live music and entertaiment on site at Home Depot Center and focused to the field as the sun went down. From tons of Support and obnoxious chanting, RBNY was able to edge out a 2-1 victory with the help of Juan Pablo Angel's late goal.

is that Julie Bornemann they interviewed? MISS LA GALAXY 2008? Was that a Red Bull event or a Galaxy event?
RBWLA: I don't want to knock you guys, but I am a little skeptical about your comments. Did all 600 people pay regular prices for their tickets? RB did not provide any free or reduced price tickets, not even to their own employees? Was the party free? Were the t-shirts, replica kits & scarves free?
Update: no free tickets, no comped tickets. Just a lot of people coming out to support the one time the NY boys make it out to play here, you all get home games all season long back east. Just doing our part to show some support, not like we are out here cheering for Mr. Posh and the Galaxy the rest of the season. RBNY is the squad and we represented well! Boo'd throughout the stadium, 500 in mass!
NY plays out there again on June 28th against Chivas, FYI. So, now that you know we're playing out there again, that means that you guys will be there right? Tailgate and the whole bit too, I bet. Many of us Metrostars fans on the East coast have been fans of this club long before red bull got their hands on it. So, we'll find out what type of fans you guys are on the 28th. I'm willing to bet that your 600 will not show.
Guys, I guess I get why you're upset, but I think it is a little overboard. They annouced this somewhere. All those people work for Red Bull in LA. Nobody got a free trip. All they did was give some free tickets to employees to go cheer on RBNY at an away match. Sound good to me!
Who the hell are you people? While ESC and all us true fans are out standing in the rain in Jersey, you're off with your little comped tickets right? Further proof that Red Bull only cares about it's drink rather than the football. So Red Bull, when's the season ticket holders free trip?
ESC the true fans of this club.
DALE METRO!
METROSTARS FOREVER!!!!
cool, BUT i'd rather red bull spends money for the REAL fans back AT HOME .. ESC
