Great show...thanks for posting. The movie seems a bit choppy about the time the sun flare hits....is there a part of the show missing?

There is a small bit I missed. I plan to get to adding it sometime, though I don't know when.

Thank you so much for posting this! Possibly the most realistic project about spaceflight/colonization to be aired on television. I would jump up and down in the store aisles if I ever found this on DVD!

The opening episode should of been 90% character development on Earth. The audience does not care about any challenges or danger the cast face until they get to know 'em.

I was the lead set designer who drew all these sets/etc. It was a beautiful experience and I am very proud of this film. We covered TWO adjoining stages for our main set (huge!).

This was a good idea, and I'm sorry it didn't take off. Of course, there are some problems. OK, let me get this straight: they agreed to no births, but didn't get sterilized or use multiple forms of birth control? Did everybody just assume that an entire TOWN full of people would abstain from sex for five or ten years?

I saw this when it aired was blown away, They need shows like this and maybe we could get "the powers that be" to start getting us to the moon and mars. wish they would release this on dvd.

It starts off a little gloomy, but I wished they had picked it up.

Very cool. I remember this well. Dale Midkiff was pretty in demand as an actor at the time.
