ok, even if Normandy failed, Germany would still loose to the red army. D day was in 1944, after Stalingrad. The soviets reconquered all lost territory and made it into Berlin first ( 2 days before rest of allies ). D day was more to stop soviets from going on to take all of Europe and wiping out Germany totally. The US had its part in the victory, but it was relatively small compared to the Soviet effort.

Ok, so where are the Gloster Meteors then?

Because it isn't in IL2, which is a big down point. + it was only used against V1's as we didn't want to lose them. + Il2 is made by a russian company.

Fair enough.

Wow - Is that James Dewar singin? O_O

There was that and in the late thirties the Hitler declared that production and development of heavy and strategic would cease, come the battle of britain all they had were light, medium and dive bombers. If they had taken britain they would have been able to win the atlantic war and would have probably decimated the over stressed US. Oh and the idiots invaded russia... RULE 1 of taking over the world DONT ATTACK RUSSIAN TILL THE VERY END!

And...when you do attack Russia,,be sure to wear your winter clothing!

yah, or just never leave youre APC, plane or Tank

If there was a B-17 in that scenerio those german planes would have got their asses handed to them.

B-29 was better than B-17...
