What a pile of crap. E.g. The subsidies used to prop up failing industries had to come from somewhere. Why should anyone be forced to pay for the continued failure of others? None of those complaining about pit closures ever dealt with that issue. Good on Thatcher. She might not have been perfect but she took Britain out of the failed socialist mess of the seventies. Plus she kicked your fucking butt on the FALKLANDS! That's your real reason for disliking her. The rest is merely cosmetics.

I worked at an NHS hospital in 1976, the personnel were very good but it was possible to carry a piece of paper around all day and not get asked any questions - over-staffed. The power & communication systems were privatised not destroyed as they're still there now. The miners put themselves out of work with constant disputes & strikes, the night shift took their sleeping bags to work & slept throughout. Then wondered why they weren't profitable.

This backfired spectacularly, they created euphoria in your country & fed you with lies. They knew the war was lost as soon as our Task Force set sail yet still hyped things up in the Plaza de Mayo. They could have withdrawn your troops at any time after they knew their fate but didn't. Blame yourselves for the deaths not everyone you can point at.

I read the Falklands has big potential Oil reserves, perhaps another visit sometime in the future from the Argies. Worryingly this time our forces are depleted by NuLabour and sovereignity eroded. The good news our brave Paras are getting in some superb fighting practice in Afghanistan while the Argie army sit round chomping beefburgers. If they were stupid enough to try anything although it might be a job getting there with a titchy navy, the paras would make mincemeat out of them ......2-0

So many bitter Argies like to comment on Falklands viedos its hilarious, they need to remember their place in the world pecking order or just remember the size of our nuclear arsenal. God save The Queen.
