this song has always haunted me when i hear it

As this spirals past, I'm wondering if a groovy man from a western, on a beach rather than in them thar hills, has met Nancy Sinatra on the way to a Lee Hazlewood convention. The song starts off stunning, and then gets better, the carved up him/her singing at the end is original and so brilliant. And, yes, Mr Hazlewood is a good horseman too. Respect.

I remember this special with Nancy and the videos she did with Lee. They were fantastic. RIP Lee. Nancy, you're awesome.
