Der Veyron 16.4 vereint etliche Superlative und Besonderheiten. Dazu zählen unter anderem die namensgebenden 16 Zylinder des 640 kg schweren Motors (430 kg ohne Getriebe), die Anordnung der Zylinder in W-Form, das 110 kg schwere Doppelkupplungsgetriebe mit sieben Gängen, die maximale Leistung von 736 kW (1001 PS), die Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 407 km/h, die vier Turbolader, der Maximalverbrauch von bis zu 100 Litern auf 100 km, das maximale Drehmoment von 1250 Nm und die Tatsache, dass die Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100 km/h 2,5 Sekunden dauert. Um das relativ schwere Fahrzeug auch wieder abzubremsen, werden Carbon-Keramik-Scheiben eingebaut, welche einen 100 km/h schnellen Wagen auf nur 31,4 m zum Stehen bringen.

And one time more a stupid reporter.. The max brake deceleration with "Airbrake" is round about 0.6G by 250 Miles per Hour.. But this car is really amazing... Technical Wonder.. Greets =)

Und wieder ein unqualifizierter Reporter mehr bei N24, armes Deutschland :P .. Für den ders wissen will... Die "Airbrake" dass aufstellen des Flügels sorgt bei 400 km/H für eine Verzögerung von Maximal 0,6g.. :P Ich sag ja immer.. Fernsehn verblödet :P

Der Koenigsegg CCR war Anfang 2005 offiziell mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 390 km/h das schnellste straßenzugelassene Auto der Welt. Seit August 2005 hielt der Bugatti Veyron 16.4 mit 407,5 km/h den Rekord. Da sich dieser nie einem offiziellen Geschwindigkeitstest gestellt hatte, war der Koenigsegg offizieller Rekordhalter.

The CCX can accelerate from 0--62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and from 0--124 mph (200 km/h) in 9.8 seconds. According to Koenigsegg it has a top speed in excess of 245 mph (394 km/h), although this has not been officially verified. On 15th June 2008, a standard fully equipped CCX was independently timed by SportAuto in achieving a record 0-186-0 mph (0-300-0 km/h) in 29.2 seconds, beating SLR McLaren 722, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Porsche 997 GT2, Alpina B6 S, Corvette Z06.

The Koenigsegg CCR is an automobile made by Koenigsegg. Designed and manufactured in Ängelholm, Sweden, it debuted at the 2004 Geneva Auto Show. It briefly held the world speed record for a production car. It is currently the third fastest production car, behind the Bugatti Veyron and the SSC Ultimate Aero TT.
