The griffon is not the same as twin. The griffon is torque limited due to it mast and transmission. it is a good civilian helo but for hot and high it is just limited. The twin can handle useing more power because it can handle the torque

ok griffon is the same damn thing as the huey, only difference is that one is the american and one is the canadian version, and as far as powerplant packages come, there is only 3, ep, sp, and hp packages, the recent one being the sp, which most griffons equipped with, slightly more powerful, etc, as far as weapons packages that depends entirely on the customers operating conditions/specs

nose mounted, that would leave the side pylons open for either 2.75" ZUNI Rockets or various types of machine gun pods or a combination of both. This would give the aircraft immediate air support/escort capabilities. This needs to be done so our soldiers can have quick, effective and reliable air support!

The machinegun configuration is usually two C6's (one on each side).

Look, some of our CH-146s should be slightly modified for use as combat air support/escort in Afganistan. The U.S. Marines were operating the UH-1N "Twin Huey" up until July of 2006. This is a lesser powered, 2 rotor version of the Griffon, infact the Griffon replaced the Twin Huey years ago in the CAF.
