A fantastic job the crew at werribee are doing. Would be great to get an update with maybe some official commentary as to where they are at. Great vid.

My wife's grandfather was Frank W. Fink, often called the father of the Liberator.

Why was he called that? Did he design it?

He was one of the main designers.

This aircraft is being restored in Werribee, Victoria (Australia). They have a website which can be found by googling 'Werribee Liberator'

My late father served as Technical Inspector for the 464th BG, 55th BW, 15th Air Force in Pantanella Italy from 1944-45. He never talked much about his experiences and getting to see a Liberator up close made me more appreciative for what he and thousands like him did for this country. Where is this Lib and the facility located? Thanks for sharing.
