The famous photographer, Steven Meisel said the images were "a reaction to where entertainment is right now - everything is makeovers and plastic surgery, altering oneself at any cost where you can go to the tropics and get operated on for half of what it would cost here while staying at a five star beachfront hotel. I am sure this is no vacation! It must be a very painful recovery process for at least a couple of weeks?

They are from Italian Vogue, some issue from 2006. Try to google Linda Evangelista and Vogue Italia, there was some press over her for being on the cover.
