Description :	Inside the Hermitage - St Petersburg Although a little late coming, here a postcard from the grand old Hermitage or Winter Palace in St Petersburg, Russia. With over 400 exhibits and 1000 rooms, the palace is packed to the brim with masterpieces and antiquities of the world. By the end of the day (even midday), you are in museum fatigue mode and completely exhausted. In this little postcard I wanted to show you the sense of crowds and endless rooms and ceilings of grandeur. Catherine the great was instrumental in much of the collection and I have included a little portrait of her at the end. By the way, the music was Tfer-recorded in a Krackow street (Poland) and is of two musicians (bassoon and clarinet) entertaining the crowds... just one of those joys you encounter.
