The black, and blue dragonflights were all but decimated, leaving very few in key locations such as the lairs of Nozdormu and Malygos, the green and red however did not face obliteration on such a massive scale, and so don't have such a waining population. As for pitlords (he was a pitlord no?) I don't recall hearing anything of the aforementioned slaughter.
