He described Iran-Iraq relations as 'brotherly', adding that Tehran would see 'no limit' to bilateral cooperation and spare no effort to help Iraqi nation and government. The Iraqi president, for his part, appreciated Iranian officials' efforts to improve the welfare and security of the war-torn country. He also stated Baghdad was eager to share experience with Tehran to implement economic development projects. Talabani arrived in Tehran earlier Tuesday for a two-day state visit during which he is also scheduled to visit Iraq's prominent politician Abdel-Aziz al-Hakim who is in Iran for medical treatment. The Iraqi official also met Tuesday with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and discussed the latest developments in the region. Talabani was in Tehran last November and signed agreements in the fields of educational and industrial cooperation and construction of an oil pipeline between the southern Iraqi city of Basra and Iran's nearby port of Abadan.
