Who the hell cares where ali daie was born- he is Iranian ful stop. After the null of 1980's in Iranian football, he was the first Iranian player to become the Asian player of the year and one of the first ones to make the European football. And for a while he was one of the most lethal strikers in the Champions league. He is also a world record holder. Basically, he is another great Iranian.
