De quelle époque c'est il?

I had a GS, it was my first car (back in 88)!
It was a very cool car, with a hydraulic suspension and four disc brakes. That was awesome then (and even now).
Strange also that the engine was air cooled.

I can tell you where that car and most cars filmed for commericals end up: they are required to crush them. Makes sense: better to crush a $10-25,00 car instead of ending up with a MIL $ lawsuit if someone gets in a bad wreck with such a car. They get driven very hard during the shoot days.
Nice old TV spot!

Yes, agreed! Beautiful little car the GS, but water soluble. The sea-salt would have speeded matters along even further. I don't think we need ask where that particular GS is now!

An interesting car (actually it looks like an advert for both the GS and the little Deau Chevaux - which was still in production then!!!) - but I somehow don't think driving it through the waves would have done it much good!!!
