But, the Walrus was Paul. D:

I want to see this so bad. John Lennon is my favorite person ever..he is the walrus

It surprises me that kids in Toronto would dislike a band because of marijuana use. Toronto is one of the most open cities in the world about pot smoking, and rock bands are notorious for doing drugs.

The story of how this came to be is as amazing as watching the film himself. Lennon was always brilliant in interviews, and this is no exception. He's got the whole concept of the military industrial complex wrapped up in a few minutes. A voice from the past, reminding us how we got into our present-day mess! Sorry we never really gave peace a chance, John.

So, according to the academy... a low-fidelity recording of an interview between a curious 14-year old boy who owns John and Yoko's Two Virgins album and John himself, accompanied with peculiar and thought-provoking animation, is inferior to some traditional old folks' story like Peter and the Wolf. Man... It was good animation, though. Considering it was stop motion, hahaha...

This. Movie. Is. Amazing.
Oh John Lennon, you're an amazing, beautiful man with a heart of gold. May your music and message live on forever.
|
It was absolutely amazing.

I knew it; I was watching the Oscars tonight and when they announced "I met the walrus" I immediately thought of John.
Wish I coulda' met the guy. He's pretty much my idol (like Ulises213 said). I'm totally going to become a miniature, female version of him when I grow up; I'm gonna get some buds together, write amazing, revolutionary songs, and Give Peace A Chance. Quite an amazing man.

Same here. I think alot about how it could've been to have met him. I was born just a little late
