"Crash" (1996) David Cronenberg Commentary

Video Title : "Crash" (1996) David Cronenberg Commentary
Description : I would love to share the rest of this commentary. Unfortunately some of the film does not follow YouTube standards. Anyone have suggestions on how to get around this? This director's commentary is only available on the 1997 Criterion Collection laserdisc. It hasn't been issued on DVD yet. This is the last 10 minutes of the film - the final crash and Cronenberg wraps up his thoughts. For Amy and Ben - my fellow Cronenberg junkies.

Finally got the commentary MP3 file to finish downloading. If anyone wants it, just PM me and I will be more than happy to send it along. MUST SHARE CRONENBERG GOODNESS!

I definitely needed to watch this movie several times in order to start appreciating it as a very interesting film. The first viewing was just disturbing because of the subject matter, then I read some analysis of the story and viewed it again. Eventually it became a great movie in my mind. Also, the acting is so devoid of emotion that if you do not realize the intent of the message it is easy to say the actors did a poor job, and that is not true. Well acted, directed and written.

Ok...i've been bullshiting throughout the comments. So first David Cronenberg has a nice voice.I haven't come to a conclusion about this movie,it's not like others....i'm not sure if i liked it or not.I guess i have to see it again.

i didn't either, but after the third viewing i started to get it... although it's still very disturbing!

Yeah it is quit disturbing.I guess you have to see it more than once to get the real message,i believe it's hidden somewhere in there i mean i don't think a great director like Cronenberg would film a porn movie! That doesn't make much sense now does it!

What mcntsc said. Just zip and upload the mp3. It's easy to sync up. We're geeks. We can figure it out. I'd love to hear it. I've been searching around for a source for this for a long time.

I know,me too!and i thought i was the only one!
