Hello Mr. How does this machine perform with large mkv files and what about the built-in BluRay, plays fluid? I just need it for Media and downloading center...

is this pc good for gaming ? and thas it have good graphicks card ?
No, not at all. It's a very poor choice for any sort of gaming - please read the other comments and watch my other videos, I talk about this issue a lot.

NO, I recommend Dell XPS 1730
i was looking for a computer and came across this one. i was wondering if it would be a good desktop for making snowboarding videos. im looking for a desktop that would be capable of making them but i dont have a lot of money to spend. this is in my price range. what do you recommend
Are we talking high-definition videos? It might struggle with that - HD video is heavy and needs some big power to work with easily. If it's standard definition video, yeah, this can do it no problem - just make sure you get 3 GB of RAM and a decent CPU (one of the CPUs that runs on the 800mhz bus like the T8100).

Hi Jason, great review!
I wonder if you have tested the audio quality of this machine in both analogue and digital out.
If this machine is connected to a LCD TV via HDMI, would there still be signal out from the audio/SPDIF? I was thinking about the possibility of connecting the SPDIF to an external DAC (for audio) while having HDMI connection for watching DVD.
Another question, does this Dell video player handle DIVX without installing external codec pack?
The HDMI connection provides both video and audio out, which I tested, and I also tested the analog out. I didn't test the SPDIF port, but I'm sure it works just fine. I'm not sure if when you have one connected it would stop the other one from working, but I doubt it. I didn't specifically test Divx files, but since Windows Vista doesn't support Divx natively, you'll still need a codec. Although I normally use VLC (which rocks!) so I rarely install the official Divx codec.
