The Birth of Israel

Israel is the one of the few states in the Middle East that has an ancient history. If you want to take about "fake states" then we might have to discuss Jordan or Iraq. What is "Lebanon?"

True, I totally agree with you. Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq are fake states. The creation of these countries was result of European colonialism. If these countries join together( to form Greater Syria, Persia or Ottoman Empire) then there would be no Israel. The creation of these "FAKE" states is the real reason for survival of ISRAEL.

I think what some viewers are trying to say is.. Israel had only a handfull of Palestinian jews before the establishment of Israel. And it is from the early 1900's that jews from Europe and Russia began to go to Israel. I avoid the phrase 'return' as it is not clear that all jews infact are genetically from that region, although it has been shown some have genetic similarities to arabs. The settlers spoke European languages and European names which they tried to change to resemble hebrew cont..

Even the Hebrew language itself is manufactured partly from old hebrew, yiddish and other languages. And for all intents Israel is a western country transplanted to the middle east..

Look, let's not bring down the beauty of this video with those who are seeking hate above all. Israel is a fantastic place. So much history. So much community between the million plus Arabs and the Jewish Israelis. So much of a miracle to even exist given all the terrible hatred that these people are subjected to on a daily basis. I really can't think of any country that has withstood so much abuse and yet, has flourished in the hardest of regions. I love Israel. Shalom and peace!

Ive been there and there definitely isnt a "community" between the them...the palestinians r treated like dogs while the israel "flourishes" on stolen land. Oh n dnt u mean "the million plus arab REFUGEES!" Israeli policy and so-called "democracy" will be the cause of its own destruction!
