The JBL home cinema in the morning

Video Title : The JBL home cinema in the morning
Description : Here's my JBL home cinema that comprises of mostly JBL control 5 control 1 a JBL 4645 DIY made enclosure with JBL 2240 18" 600watts that is used for LFE.1 with Dolby dts 5.1 mixes or can be used in SW-re-mix for Dolby stereo films or stereo music. There is also an Eltax A-12 R 12" 250watts that's primarily used for LCRS sub bass extension or can also be used as sub bass for stereo music mixes. The LCR JBL fronts are used in active crossover mode with the DCX2496 additional Dolby processing like the Yamaha DSR-70Pro can used with the extraction of centre phantom on Dolby or dts 5.1 mixes where a signal is often sent to left and right with equal level. The DSR-70Pro can also be used in Dolby pro-logic that doesn't use auto balancing, like the main decoder Kenwood KRF-X9050D THX select, I can use this with Dolby Lt and Rt signals so this home cinema is quite versatile. Dolby DSP-100 is acting as preamp for centre Dolby or dts 5.1 or can be used along with the DSR-70Pro when extracting the centre phantom, where the signal is sent to one of the extra inputs and the summed signal of the two is outputted and sent to amplification. Pioneer VSP-200 decodes surrounds like centre back and matrix overhead surrounds that are not connected at the present time. Mixer is used to control sub bass LCRS and LFE.1. amplification is handled via Alesis RA300 and Marantz 1050 and 1030 soon to be all replaced with Alesis RA300 and RA500. Players at present are Pioneer Laserdisc player CLD-1750 Pioneer DV-525 and Cello DR-810 also there is Pioneer CLD-2950 and Sony DVP-S535D which isn't connected at the present time. Also there is BFQ2496 for summed sub bass output from mixer and LFE.1. The additional EQ will all be changed soon for DEQ2496 for LCRS and LFE.1 also additional DCX2496 will be added into the sound system. TV monitor is Toshiba 25" which give a wonder colour brightness and contrast and used in RGB mode. Some time soon I'll be installing hopefully a video projector for that finished transparent touch.

wellll.... way to take the spotlight off the merantz amps... but let's hear it

Remember the yamaha DSP-E1000. I use to have one. I loved that processer. I wanted the A1000 but at the time I couldn't afford it. I had JBLs at that time. They were a nice set. My next upgrade to my home theater is some better speakers.
