Also, why didn't all the Weta bugs that were attacking the main guy cause any serious damage. I mean in reality Weta bugs have strong enough jaws to slice into your skin, certainly Weta bugs of that size would have easily been able to make very nasty wounds and bite his fingers off, but he wasn't even bleeding after all that. It just looked like the bugs were just trying to give him a big kiss!

What I don't understand is why the guy that got eatin by the worms couldn't wack the warms that got his arm and then his head. I mean how much more reference do you need to have to know where to swing the machete if one has your arm, and another your head?

I thought that too ya know. But after everything he went through, I believe he got too tired. Cuz in the end he was just swinging his sword wearily with not much force.
