I love this performance! He should have won the Oscar!

oen of his best performances, he anchors the entire movie, A+ movie on all fronts

Burt Reyolds is his own best friend and fan club!! Loved him early on, but he slid to the dark side with his lower companion...A elf shoed little dark side companion..Lonnie must of put the vodoo on the poor boy.

how is jack so accepting when he wont accept the deal to go to VHSs?

get your GED yet? c'mon, community college doesnt really care what your GPA wasnt! And AA degrees dont exist in the real world anymore. But, seeing as you are a Britney Spears wanna be, there must be some sort of substance to your being...or is that some substance must be in your being..your being on a substance..oh well. Dont want to get you too stressed before your next study hour...testing again for the reading of the pink stick?

Career best performance in Boogie Nights

my description of 'absolute nonsense' was a joke that nobody seemed to get. oh well

Burt Reynolds hated working on this film. He turned down a role in Magnolia, because he didn't like Paul Thomas Anderson. He even fired his agent, after filming finished. It wasn't until the film started getting good critical attention, decent box office and probably most importantly, earned himself a best actor Oscar nomination, that he changed his tune. It was fairly well documented at the time. Most of the cast have said he was a prick on set.

what did he hate about working on a film with a director about 40 years younger than him? Why would he fire his agent? Couldn't the renowned Burt Schm. Reynolds read the script and turn it down? Oh, could he read the script or was it he couldnt afford to turn it down? Remind us Bert, how many movies have you had to turn down since the making of Boogie Nights...and the rationale was? Too busy making other films?

I failed to hear the non-sense in this one also.
