They're always actual people in Myst 1-4. Myst V is when they're character models.

I really wanted a game were it depicts the remainder of the childhood to adulthood of Yeesha. And it also shows Catherine and Atrus getting older.

As far as I'm concerned, he died at the end of myst 1. DOWN WITH RETCON!

It wasn't really retcon. They were just trapped in those books. Then again, I think that the games could have been completed with Riven, I think personally. The ending to Riven is just so gorgeous and...complete.

yeah it was upsetting when he died, But that's how Achenar wanted it. He risked his life to save his sister, that's probably something no one would have thought of.
