The planes both took off from Tinian Island. The Hiroshima bomb (Little Boy) was a 15-kiloton gun-type fission device that exploded 100 meters above a bridge. It killed about 80,000 people. The Nagasaki bomb (Fat Man) was a 20-kiloton implosion-type fission device that killed 50,000 people. These two attacks forced the Japanese forces to surrender, thus ending the Second World War between the United States and Japan. He said that he did NOT regret or was sorry about dropping the bomb on Hiroshima. He said that if he didn't drop the bomb, many more people would be killed. He wanted to be buried secretly in an unmarked grave, for he was afraid many Japanese people would hate him afterwards.

well just wait til the russians drop the monster bomb 50 megatons. little boy and fat man arent even 1000th the power of that thing. it would wipe an area close to the size of texas away, and turn any dirt or sand into a green radioactive glass crystal substance for all time.
