the beau has been sold to someone in america i think. it will be a shame to see it go, i hope it flies here before it leaves

my grandfather was a navigator/gunner in beaufighters.... he and his pilot were the last men to fly in the one in your video a19-144... would love to see it for myself one day

What a coincidence! I believe this aircraft is for sale now, so who knows where it will end up in future!

yeh.... they were making great progress with it 5-6 years ago and had hopes of actually getting it into the air..... but key original parts dried up. actually saw some good action this plane in the 31 sqn. the sqn leader butch gordon even shot down a japanese dinah in it and my grandfather didnt like it much cos something happened everytime they were in it from hitting birds to crash landind!! thanx for the vid btw
