Sad to see so many women swooning for a RAPIST. ABC has no respect for its audience.

It's just a television show. You can't tell me you haven't done things in your past that you don't regret. Most Todd fans believe he contiually suffers for his actions. He may have all the money in the world, but sometimes he's not a very good guy. He's paying dearly for these actions.

Sure, we get token "regret" scenes now and then, but the fact that they play this sleazeball up as a hunk makes me want to vomit. Todd was not conceived to be a regular character. He was meant to be a short-run VILLAIN who led a vicious GANG RAPE. "Reforming" him because women liked him was a creatively bankrupt decision by OLTL. I read Howarth left the part after being disgusted by fans at an event shouting "Rape ME, Todd!" I just think it sends a terrible message to young girls. :(

Let me clarify; I mean no offense to you personally. I just think making rapists (or anyone guilty of a crime that vile) into heroes is unhealthy in any medium. I've always liked Tony Geary on GH but I came in a few years after Luke raped Laura. It bothered me after I found out but I kept watching, which does make me a bit of a hypocrite. I just wish they would have retconned the rapes in both cases (brain tumor, evil twin, whatever) to make it more acceptable for these guys to be heroes now.
