2006 Dover AFB Open House & Airshow - C-5 Galaxy

60th FMS A/R shop 9/79 - 12/1981, Ramstein CAMS 1982 - 84. "Military Airlift Command" at the time. Anyone else cross paths with me there?

Used to live on the Corpus Christi NAS, and saw many C5's take off and land. It was AWESOME to see those huge planes flying over. They always seemed to be going very slow, but their immense size gave that illusion. The sound is the best!!

I've seen the C-5 in action at a local air show many years ago. The size of the airplane is impressive. But the sound of its engines is unforgettable.

I felw on this plane a few years ago, as a millitary dependant and i remember there being no windows and the seats are faced backwards..and there was about only 30 seats!

This Plane is still the BEST heavy-lift Cargo Plane in the world. It will be around for a long time. Would love to fly it. MCJ0159

the c5 is a big cargo plane that the air forve has right now.

I hate cloudy airshow days. The C5 kicks ass. I love that plane.
