A commercial from the third commercial break for the pre-show special for the final episode of Cheers, originally aired May 20, 1993. What luxury should be.

Except for the Continental, 1993 was a great model year.
Clever wording. "We'd like you to think Lincoln is a leader in automative safety." This gives the listener the impression that they ARE the leader in automotive safety. Truth is, that's what Volvo was known for. Funnier yet is that Lincolns WERE the only luxury manufacturer that offered dual airbags and ABS standard in '93, BUT they didn't have the lowest rate of deaths per vehicle in a year. That was Volvo. I hate deceptive, misleading advertising!
Thank you for your thoughtful and enlightening comment, palebeachbum! So shines a bright light in a world weary with "OMFG" comments.
No, but it would make Lincoln a leader in auto safety "features."
It is too short but I liked it as all FMC's commercials, this is simple for Lincoln.
