P-40 flyby

That must have been back in in the very early 90s... maybe 90-91 when the Alpine Fighter Collection was finishing off their P-40K!! Great vid.... just gutted i'm stuck in Aussie atm and couldn't make it back for the show... Take care bro

Mate this wasn't a Yak, its P-40E-1 Kittyhawk of the old stick and rudder company and P-40N-5 Kittyhawk based in Wanaka!! Good vid though....

Thanks dude, at first I thought they were both P-40's but didn't get to see them both on the ground up close. I did think the wing profile wasn't Yak though. Saw a P-40 at Wanaka some years ago as the engine was about to go in, that was when you could wander onto the aerodrome and they'd let you mosey around the workshop.
