there are many right wing socialists, Fascism is right wing socialism for example.
Libertarianism - Socialism is the true opposites. Freedom/Private Property vs State/Slavery/Coaction

they are just labels and titles... and they are a diversion.
And yellow, black, blue or red are also labels. Reality needs labels for being described. Bur right and true labels.
reality does not need labels if you step back and look at the whole picture. You are compartmentalising because it's easier - this is the language of glimpsed sketches. ... - nice talking to you...
Every definition of reality may be considered a label. That private property is base of libertarianism is true and that every policy against property rights is not libertarianism is also true. Its also true that sky is blue and milk is white, and every politician is socialist when rises taxes and libertarian when cuts taxes. You cant live in politics or maths or biology with no labels.

throw the boxes away...

But that is following a one-dimensional spectrum, which is useless for contemporary politics. Left and right should be understood in purely economic terms. Right meaning more laissez-fare/ free-market, and left= planned/progressive. In terms of libertarian v. authoritarian, that should be the vertical dimension. So two-dimensional spectrums are better, and therefore a socialist can never be right-winged, but can be extremely authoritarian.
For me authoritarianism is socialism; as Mises explained there are many kinds of socialism: democratic, communism, fascism, nazism..
Interesting. But you can be authoritarian without being socialist. Fascism is not socialist by any means. In fact Fascism, that being Mussolini's model, was based on the 'third way' (note that should be separated from the 21st century model of the third-way). Fascist economy is aimed to be an alternative to socialism and capitalism...named corporatism.
But I use Misean-Austrian School definition of socialism: social-political-economic system based in institutionalized coaction of central authority (government). Corporatism is another form of socialism because in this Government runs the show, and it is interventionism. In fact, corporatist capitalism is for 'austrians' socialism.
