The psychotic robot is pretty much fucking undeniably cool, though. Harvey Keitel's voice was overdubbed prior to release due to the producers' nervousness about his heavy "Brooklynese" accent. Lordy... I remember this. I was actually checking a few clips of "The Villian" and a memory of this movie popped up. My Dad took me to see this at the movies. That was about a hundred years ago.

I first saw this movie when I was about 10. I used to watch it all the time, mainly because Hector scared the shit out of me!! Harvey Kietel was a serious psycho in this one.

Sadly underrated movie. Sure, it wasn't oscar material but it was good anyway, and Hector, the robot,is still one of my all time favorite sci-fi movie robots ever! A Specia edition DVD is sorely needed!

I remember this movie freaking me out as a kid. Ah good old times, right up there with Scanners.
