Non-violence is the only option. When you engage in the alternative you only encourage more violence. If someone gives you a black eye and you give them one back it makes you both look guilty, because you both are. There is a difference between self-defense and retaliation and it is up to all of us who want peace to deny the violent and hateful just cause for their actions. MLK Jr. was one of the greatest political leaders in history and I miss his presence in this country very much. RIP Martin

We cannot deny that the whites were instrumental in the freedom of the black slaves. If you read your history, there were many white who owned the safe houses for the slaves as they moved north. The underground was a collective movement. America would be much stronger against her enemies it the country was united in a common cause. its true that eventually there is a hard core of iqnorance and hate that you have to kill with violence...the problem is that violence is so infectious that it then continues until your ideal s have been ruined and the socitiey you forge is no better than the one you crushed.
