This cartoon is "Fiesta Fiasco," released on December 9, 1967. Produced by Bill Hendricks and directed by Alex Lovy (formerly of Hanna-Barbera). In my opinion, generally superior to most of the Daffy-Speedy toons.

Yeah, I think this and "Skyscraper Caper" are two of the better Speedy vs. Daffy cartoons. But I just can't stand that "See Ya Later Gladiator"... awful animation, bad writing and music, and Daffy and Speedy are drawn WAY off-model!

Did you see the MPAA symbol in 00:30? I guess that logo's been changed since the orignal classic western film, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Great upload.

you call this old school? I can't stand any of the late-sixties looney tunes

How could Daffy forget his own birthday? He isn't elderly or extremely forgetful.

If there ever was a Looney Tunes Dream Team it consisted of Chuck Jones, Philip DeGuard, Ken Harris, Maurice Noble, Lloyd Vaughan, Ben Washam and, of course, Carl Stalling and Milt Franklyn for the music. This is so under par I couldn't even smile.

I'll admit that this cartoon isn't on par with Golden Age toons (can't hold a candle to 'Duck Amuck'), but it's not that bad.

you should have uploaded an older one, the 60s cartoons aren't as good.

I agree. Many of these post-64 cartoons weren't that great (especially Seven Arts ones like this), but I liked a few of them, like the Cool Cat cartoons. Anyways, this cartoon was obviously taken from a PAL print. It sounds like it's speeded up.
