California now wants to outlaw lead in bullets and shot, because Condors and other scavengers eat the carcass of animals that have been shot, which gives this endangered species lead poisening. You fuggin' idiot... if hunters wouldn't pay the state of California for the hunting licenses, tags, ammo taxes, etc, there would be no Department of Fish & Game, there would be no wildlife protection programs, there would be no conservation programs.
