I wonder why it was never released outside of Japan... this would have been sold like mad with all the original fans getting to play again with improved graphics and sound.

oh indeed. The controls were not bad at all, but like I said, it was the stupid inventory bug that plagued earlier versions of UW 1 on the PC. At least that was patched. This was never patched. So imagine going throug the dungeons to find your equipment gone. I think the soundtrack is ripped somewhere, so go get it when you can :)
