We were at a camalid meeting and someone asked what the prognosis is for a 3 legged llama, I think the vets need to be made aware that false legs are available and work. Well done.
The leg seems to be doing the job perfectly. How did the Llama actually loose its leg?
i don't know really. i know that it broke it's leg and it wasn't mending properly, so they had to amputate it. it wasn't able to stand for very long on 3 legs, so with the prosthesis, now it will be mobile again!
