The all-wheel-drive FX came to market in 2003 as one of the first crossovers that had morphed into a high-performance vehicle — a kind of personalized coupe, only with cargo capacity. The FX looked like a Bionic Cheetah, showcased some segment-leading technology and delivered road-going performance on par with European-brand sport-utilities the BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne. Unfortunately, no one seemed to care. Yet now people are talking about personal-style crossovers. Have times finally caught up with the 2009 Infiniti FX50?

Discovering the performance blood line in the Infiniti brand is a natural fit when it comes to sedans and coupes, but now falls short in their cross-over attempt. When this car first arrived it stirred the SUV segment with a wow factor, but see the BMW performance bloodline will challenge what defines performance and styling in this segment. It's this shake of the segment we should be excited about, not whether FX is better than X6. Personnally, if you want attention that inspires X6 stands out.

it is urgly!!!! I was waitin' for the new FX but look at it... its fucking odd! X6 seemed odd to me but i really go for X6 or X5 even though FX50 might be better and at the same time with lower price! What a shame!

the x6 isnt that good. ive driven it and to me its not all its cracked up to be, too big for me and i personally think the exterior is ugly
