I would have taken Harlow any day over Roslin

I just noticed: Clark Gable and Tom Selleck look a lot alike.

I agree with the previous posts. I love him with her in this as well as Red Dust which I might add is one of the hardest of his films to find. Other than that I adore it and anxiously await to see it again!

@Deanne - you said it, Red Dust is impossible to find. I have it on VHS, but I really want it on DVD since it's not only my favorite Jean Harlow film, but one of my fave films of all time. Gable and Harlow had such wonderful chemistry on the silver screen, I think it's in part becasue they were such great friends in real life. They made for such a wonderful couple in their films together. I love Jean. Sad she died so young, but lives on in her movies! She's adorable!

I love Jean, Clark, Roz and I also think that Beery is ok here though I know what sort of guy he used to be...

This is a side of Rhett Butler that I don't care for very much.

A TWENTY FOUR YEAR OLD!
Two years and a handful of films earlier she couldn't speak a line or move.
No coaching, no acting lessons by the many director's admissions, little direction if any.
Just pure, determined talent.
She watched. She was on the set needed or not...and SOBER. Self taught.
Truly an extinct breed of human being. So sad that there is nor hasn't been in decades any sort of talent like there used to be.
What passes for talent now. Pathetic.
Thanks so much for the clips
