But the stories in the normal 30 min episodes were much more entertaining. Futurama is placed in the future which allows the stories to be different and creative, but this movie had just a dumb plot, and very little humour. I only laughed a little once or twice during the whole 90 minutes.

I agree. This whole story could have easily been stripped down into a 22 minute episode. That is why it isn't that great.

so what do you consider a great comedy cartoon... besides family guy.

I was kind of dissapointed with this movie, same with the one the came out a few months before. It isn't bad, but I find the story is quite stupid at times, random, and not well-written. I hope when new seasons of Futurama are made of these 4 movies, that the stories will be better, and only meant for 22 min episodes. I find they drag the plot (and not bery well) for these 90 min movies.
