The first part of the July 25, 1997 episode that aired 10 years ago yesterday on ABC. For those who like to steal opening themes and episode clips to credit as their own, I have a hidden "cm1" logo that is camauflage in all scenes on this clip. I am the only one right now who has this 1997 pearls live shots opening and I would know if someone took it from me very easily. Copyright 1997 ABC Daytime at New York, NY.

Well, you did something to protect yourself and hope you can catch this person.
hummm are you taking all copyrights of this video by adding your supposedly hidden logo? i think yes! reported!
You're a dumbfuck, all old videos from before Summer 2007 have the mistaken copyright symbol, I don't want people stealing videos they didn't buy or record from the tapes. All rights have ALWAYS belonged to ABC regardless and I print that on my channel, wouldn't be surprised if you were jssk2003.
YOU CRAZY SON OF A BITCH...... Carmaker is doing nothing wrong.... and he didnt steal, infringe or what so ever. He is worked very hard to let us enjoy the soaps, theme music, bumpers, credits, etc. And since u are trying to bring him down, GO KICK ROCKS, and STAY THE FUCK OFF OF HIS CHANNEL,and KEEP UR NEGATIVE ASS COMMENTS TO yourself, you SHITHEAD!
Answer102 CLEARLY has too much time on his/her/its hands. I'm sure ABC has zero problems with anything that promotes its soaps, and these clips do nothing to detract from ABC and certainly garner no profit to CarMaker1. Answer102, I suggest you find a charity in need to focus your energy upon. You're definitely misusing it here.
who is the girl talking to Opal?
Kelsey Jefferson. If memory serves me correctly, she was Joe and Ruth's granddaughter. She eventually had a romance with Bobby.
It's the other way around. She PREVIOUSLY had a fling with Bobby (off-screen, before these actors assumed their roles), which resulted in Sam - whom Maria & Edmund ultimately adopted.
Thanks so much for posting this episode. I still love AMC, but they truly don't make em like they used to. It was so much better back then.
I'd love to see the 1984 one if you ever get the chance, and the 1988 I guess also.
