how did that enigne not overheat staying that long in the mud mine will overheat after about 1 minute.

the high location of the radiator (but not very safe if it do overheat...) helps alot and a very powerfull big electric 2-stage fan with a cover that covers the back of the radiator, so that the fan sucks fresh air through the entire radiator area on the same time is the key. I´ve seen a lot of guys that have had problems with there Jeeps (especially with V8´s) overheating when offroading and a lot of time the problem can be solved with only a good cover!

That's a volvo tgb20. A military vehicle built for the swedish military since the seventies. It´s out of production since years ago.
