This is actually a cover of a Jaco Pastorius song. I never really thought someone could cover Jaco's music and almost do it BETTER.
Morgan is a great drummer, as are the keyboard player and sax player.
Great video overall.

>vviinnssaanniittyy > No, it is no Pastorius song. It is an A.J. Ellis song. But as you, I also find this version "almost better". And that's not easily said, that someone makes it better than Jaco.

this is so huge!! check out zappa,s universe for more unbelievable stuff from the keyboardist and drummer.

The Heat Beats Live DVD/CD set is incredibly inspirational to watch. I highly recommend picking it up if you haven't already done so...

beethoven was deaf?!
damn, how could he enjoy music, without hearing anything?
|
probably from the vibration music creates. Especially in classical music, the vibrations emitted from an almost perfect classical piece will vibrate in harmony, for the notes played are all mathematically and musically (music is the language of math) harmonious. Nowadays we have stopped looking at music as the perfect language of maths, we just take it for granted. So basically, blast a metal song and then blast a classical piece, forget what you hear and feel the vibrations, you'll see :P

Michael
