Diane Lane Matt Dillon 3of3 Gabler Lyons Sneak Preview 1983

What a terrible lack of imagination these two men have. Rumblefish is nothing short of a Masterpiece.

I thought the direction to go Black and White is interesting, however the script didn't match the BlackWhite film. All the emotion that the script is trying to say is blacked out by the lack of light that it loses whatever redeeming qualities or attributes the actors are trying to show or say.

I've seen Rumblefish twice, I really like Diane Lane,Matt Dillon is one of my fav actors Mickey Rourke is good in many films prior to his career nosedive. I was unable to really enjoy this movie though, I mean it is very arty has some interesting scenes shots but to me does not really engage the viewers attention to the point of being totally engrossed in the story and plot, I also found it difficult to care about the characters. I much preferred Coppola's prior film "The Outsiders".

Was that scene in there? I don't remember him playing PacMan... lol I remember the second part of it. Those jackasses. How could they put the movie down? First of all it was a book, it wasn't written by Francis. And it's a beautiful film. I'm 16 yrs old and I love it. I saw it when I was 14. One last note: Matt Dillion is so cute and sexy when they interviewed him.

I have to say these guys don't get why it ending up being mumbling and black and white cause they did it so they could see what it is like for the motorclyle boy and thorugh his eyes
